Overview:

A platform that aims to assist seniors and their loved ones in accessing essential everyday home, property, and personal services.

2022

Objectives:

Platform aimes to ease the daily load of tasks for older adult population through offering an accessible way of booking essential everyday home services like laundry, grocery shopping, housekeeping, and property services like snow removal and eaves trough cleaning.

Process:

We started with gathering insights from existing home service booking apps (Angi, TaskRabbit, Thumbtack) and created a user flow that mimics familiar process of onboarding and service selection and booking.

We then gathered business and user insights on Bayshore clients that fit the user demographic, and how they currently interact with the existing applications.

Using mental models as an anchor in further decisions, we developed a happy path through wireframes to test the flow internally and externally, with the help of existing Bayshore users and stakeholders’ insights. It allowed us to move on to designing high fidelity prototype and start working on dashboards and focus on optimizing the overall user experience.

How did we do this?

Developed Over 200 APIs Across 30+ Microservices

Partners:

Partners play the role of service providers within the application, offering the requested services to clients. Platform’s responsibility is to bridge the gap between clients and partners. This was achieved by utilizing the app/platform to transmit client service requests to partners, including crucial details such as time frame, day, location address, and additional notes. Partners have the flexibility to accept or reject services based on their availability.

Developed Over 200 APIs Across 30+ Microservices

Team:

Team offers support for both partners and clients when it comes to technical difficulties or any questions users might have. Platform is also responsible to manage the list of clients and partners and handle requests through Creatio CRM that’s connected to the app.

Outcomes:

Since the beginning of the project, platform has made a lot of progress in user testing iterations, and the service has been successfully launched in 2022.
